Itinerary
DAY 1: Arrival to Istanbul & Transfer to Hotel
Welcome to Turkey!
Today is your arrival to Istanbul and your eight-day tour will begin with a pickup from the airport and then transfer to your Istanbul hotel. You will have the night to rest before beginning your activities in the morning. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2: Full day Istanbul Old City Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
Visiting Attractions: Hagia Sophia – Blue Mosque – Topkapi Palace – Hippodrome – Obelisk of Theodosius and Grand Bazaar
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up from your hotel and start to full day Old City Tour. Istanbul is a city full of famous iconic sites that today you will experience for yourself from the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia with their breathtaking silhouettes that make the skyline so unique to the Topkapi Palace, a beautiful Ottoman palace once home to the Ottoman Sultans and the first president of Turkey. Spend some time where the gladiators of ancient Roman Constantinople, entertained the crowds at the site of the Hippodrome today you will see the Obelisks that have stood the test of time and are adorned with beautiful markings, taking us back in time. Our last station is the Grand Bazaar, Turkey’s the largest covered market at the heart of the Old City, offering excellent shopping. You will get the chance to wander through the Grand Bazaar and soak up the atmosphere of this incredible delight.
End of the day, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 3: Half day Bosphorus Cruise Tour (Breakfast included)
Visiting Attractions: Spice Bazaar – Golden Horn – Marvellous bridge Bosphorus – Rumeli Hisar
Our well informed tourist guides will pick you up from your accommodations with the shining beams of the sun in the morning. Our first destination is to the 17th century Spice Bazaar, an extraordinary, colorful and fantastic place to see where you can buy various gifts for your lovers. Our next station is Golden Horn, we will make this journey with an unforgettable cruise along our marvellous bridge, Bosphorus which is known as a cradle linking Europe and Asia. Views like wooded shores, rising mosques along these shores, a bridge that for a time was the world’s longest one, and Rumeli Hisari, a historical construction built by Mehmet the Conqueror in just three months as he prepared to conquer Istanbul, will accompany to you.
At the end of the tour you will be transferred your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 4: Flight to Izmir & Full day Izmir Agora – Pergamon – Thyatira Tour (Lunch included)
Visiting Attractions: Smyrna (Izmir) Agora – Pergamon – Thyatira
In the morning, you will be picked from your hotel and transfer to the airport. Your flight will last about one hour and when you arrive in Izmir airport, you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit gate with a sign your name on it. You will start the day visiting Smyrna, the outside of St Polykarp Church & the ruins of the Agora. Then depart to Bergama and ruins of Pergamon, previously a renowned cultural and political center used by the Romans as an administrative center for the province of Asia. Here visit the ruins of the Acropolis and the Asclepion with its theatre. Then we will visit the ruins of Thyatira, which was founded by the Lydian’s.
After this stunning and priceless experience, we will transfer to your hotel. You will stay in Izmir this night. Overnight in Izmir.
DAY 5: Full day Sardes – Philadelpia – Laodecia Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
Visiting Attractions: Sardes – Philadelpia – Laodecia
After having breakfast at the hotel, we visit Sardes, an extremely important ancient city and the capital of the Lydia Kingdom with its beautiful gymnasium and marble paved synagogue and the Temple of Artemis including ancient Christian Chapel of the 4th Century. Then we will proceed to Philadelphia in Alasehir, a favorite city of Paul and John. Then we will visit the Laodicea, an early center of Christianity and one of the Seven Churches of Revelation.
At the end of our tour, we will transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Pamukkale.
DAY 6: Full day Pamukkale Tour (Breakfast and Lunch included)
Visiting Attractions: Calcium spring terraces, Hierapolis museum, Hierapolis Theatre, Roman Bath, and Temple of Apollo, Cleopatra hot spring thermal pool
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and drive to Pamukkale where you will explore beautiful nature and fascinating history. Pamukkale has hot springs and travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing and cooling water. It seems like cotton that’s why it is called Cotton Castle. Visit to Hierapolis Ancient City as a Unesco World Heritage Site and used to be visited by people to soothe their aliments during the retirement and also die there. As a refreshment, you can walk on terraces or swim in Cleopatra Swimming Pool. (Optional)
At the end of the tour, we will drive to Kusadasi. When we arrive at Kusadasi, you will be transferred to your Kusadasi hotel. Overnight in Kusadasi.
DAY 7: Full day Ephesus – Virgin Mary House – Artemis Tour & Flight Back to Istanbul (Breakfast and Lunch included)
Visiting Attractions: Ephesus – The House of Virgin Mary-The Temple of Artemis
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and drive to Ephesus. We will visit to Ephesus Ancient City, Hadrian Temple, Celcius Library, Theater, Hamams and Old Harbor. Then we will visit the Temple of Artemis which used to be one of the 7 wonders of ancient World. After lunch we will visit House of Virgin Mary where Virgin Mary spent her last 5 years before she died and recognized as a pilgrimage place by Vatican.
At the end of this priceless day, you will be taken to the Izmir Airport for your Istanbul flight. After your arrival to airport, you will be welcomed by our representative at the first exit door. Then you will be transferred to your Istanbul hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 8: Transfer to Airport
Depending on your international flight time, the driver will be at the lobby to transfer you to the airport. End of our service.
